hololive Dreams Membership Guide – Benefits, Medals & Is It Worth It?
hololive Dreams Holomem Membership explained — ¥290/month per talent, Membership Medals, stamps, live skins, park outfits. Cosmetics only, no gameplay advantage. Updated August 4, 2026.
Membership (Japanese players often say メンシ) is hololive Dreams’ per-talent monthly subscription. Each of the 54 launch holomem has a separate membership priced at ¥290 per month (local store pricing may vary by region). You join to support your oshi and unlock cosmetic flair — stamps, titles, park outfits, and live skins — not Diamonds, pity, or score advantages.
As of August 4, 2026, Membership is live on iOS, Android, and Steam-linked accounts. This guide covers how to join, what Membership Medals buy, release commemorative free medals, and when the sub is worth keeping.
Pair with Diamonds Guide, Gacha Guide, and F2P Progression if you are deciding between cosmetics and pulls.
What Membership is (and is not)
| Feature | Membership provides |
|---|---|
| Price | About ¥290 / month per holomem |
| Scope | One talent per subscription — multi-oshi means multiple subs |
| Active perks | Fan mark, limited title, limited stamps while subscribed |
| Monthly currency | Membership Medals ×3 for that talent |
| Gameplay | None — no score boost, no Diamonds, no pity help |
QualiArts and COVER designed Membership like a YouTube channel membership analogue inside the game: you pay for oshi cosmetics and social signals, not competitive edge. If a guide claims Membership raises Live scores, ignore it.
How to join
- Open the menu from the home screen (top-right icon).
- Tap the Membership icon.
- Select the holomem you want to support.
- Tap Join / 加入する at the bottom-right and confirm through your platform store.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel in the App Store, Google Play, or Steam subscription settings. Medals already earned stay in your inventory after cancel; active-only stamps and titles lock when the sub ends.
Membership Medals — earn and spend
Membership Medals are the real long-term currency of the system.
| Source | Amount |
|---|---|
| Monthly membership grant | 3 medals per subscribed talent |
| Release commemorative select box | +2 medals for a talent you choose (one-time launch gift) |
Typical exchange costs reported by AppMedia / Gamerch communities:
| Reward | Medals |
|---|---|
| Stamp | 2 |
| Emote | 3 |
| Title | 3 |
| Park outfit | 5 |
| Live skin (lane / combo / effect pack) | 5 |
Important: Items bought with medals remain usable after you cancel Membership. Active-only fan marks and time-gated stamps do not.
Park outfits change your chibi look while exploring Dream Park. Live skins restyle rhythm UI during Lives — cosmetic only, zero score impact. See Custom Charts and Controls Settings if you also customize note skins separately.
Is Membership worth it?
Buy if:
- You have a clear oshi and want their stamps, park outfit, or live skin
- You already covered launch Diamonds and summer gacha priorities (see Sunny Summer Vacation!)
- ¥290/month fits your budget as fandom support, not as “pay-to-win”
Skip or delay if:
- You still need Diamonds for limited banners before August 7 summer gacha end or the teased October 2026 hololive 9th anniversary
- You expected gameplay bonuses — Membership will not help S-rank Lives
- You want multiple talents’ outfits — costs stack linearly (¥290 × number of subs)
A single talent kept for two months (~¥580) is usually enough to afford one 5-medal park outfit or live skin after the free +2 launch medals.
Release commemorative medals
During the launch window, QualiArts distributed a select box worth two Membership Medals for a talent of your choice. Claim it from mailbox if you have not already — those free medals stack with your first paid month and shorten the wait for a 5-medal exchange.
Practical tips
- Join one oshi first; collect medals for two billing cycles before deciding on a second sub.
- Exchange medals for permanent park outfits / live skins before canceling.
- Screenshot your subscription renew date so you do not get surprised charges.
- Membership is unrelated to promo codes — codes (when they appear) will not replace medals.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions about hololive Dreams.
Does hololive Dreams Membership give Diamonds or score boosts?
No. Membership is cosmetics-only: fan marks, stamps, titles, park outfits, and live skins via Membership Medals. It does not improve rhythm scores or gacha rates.
How much does Membership cost?
About ¥290 per month per holomem in Japan. Your App Store, Google Play, or Steam storefront shows the local price. Multiple talents require multiple subscriptions.
Do Membership Medal rewards disappear if I cancel?
No. Stamps, emotes, titles, park outfits, and live skins exchanged with medals stay permanently. Active-only fan marks and subscription-gated stamps stop when the sub ends.
Where do I cancel Membership?
Cancel through your platform subscription settings (App Store, Google Play, or Steam), not only inside the game menu. Medals already owned remain.
