hololive Dreams Multiplayer Guide – Fortune Network, Co-op Lives & Mini-Games

How multiplayer works in hololive Dreams — Fortune Network co-op Lives with shared scores, Hoppin' Rope up to 5 players, unlock chapters, and social tips. Updated August 4, 2026.

Last updated:

hololive Dreams supports online multiplayer for selected rhythm Lives and Dream Park mini-games without rewriting the core six-lane solo fantasy. The social layer is often called the Fortune Network in English coverage — a facility-linked matchmaking space where you contribute to a shared Live score or jump rope with friends. As of August 4, 2026, multiplayer is a launch feature, not a late-August teaser (late August still promises additional multiplayer mini-games on the roadmap).

This guide explains what is co-op today, how unlocks work, and how to play without sabotaging your own progression loop.

What you can play with others

Co-op Lives keep the same note charts you already know. Your accuracy and team power still matter; teammates add to a communal total rather than replacing your RPG build. Read Scoring & PERFECT and Team Building before chasing party high scores.

Unlock path

Multiplayer features gate behind story chapters and facility completion:

  1. Progress Dream Park main story so Harmony Garden facilities open (Chapter Unlock).
  2. Complete the Gen 3 facility to unlock Hoppin’ Rope multiplayer jump rope.
  3. Clear into the Megasphere for Mega Circuit / Pokajan! (solo-focused) and advanced park social hubs.
  4. Open Fortune Network matchmaking from the relevant facility UI when the chapter flag clears.

Rushing only rhythm songs while parking story chapters is the #1 reason players think “multiplayer is missing.” Follow the Day-One Checklist and Dream Park guide.

Co-op Live tips

  • Build for consistency first — Combo Guard and Heal help the shared run survive; pure score teams can brick early if one player dies out.
  • Agree on difficulty before match — one Hard carry cannot always rescue three Normal-skill friends on Expert charts.
  • Enable streaming settings if you broadcast co-op (Settings, Update Notes).
  • Cross-save first — link accounts so phone and Steam parties use the same roster (Cross-save).

Hoppin’ Rope as the social MVP (Aug 1–5)

During Hello! Brand New Summer! (ends Aug 5, 19:59 JST), Hoppin’ Rope is the community-preferred Event Pt farm among mini-games. Party sessions are more fun and still efficient — bring Mini-Game Boost ×10 from Ver 1.0.100 compensation if unspent.

Late August teaser vs what exists now

COVER’s July 27 stream teased a new area and new multiplayer mini-game for late August. That content is not required to use Fortune Network Lives or Hoppin’ Rope today. Bookmark the Upcoming Roadmap for the patch date when announced.

Play with friends, but keep your daily login and song-drop loop intact — multiplayer should enhance holodori, not replace the Daily Checklist.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions about hololive Dreams.

Is Fortune Network available at launch?

Yes. Co-op Lives and Hoppin' Rope multiplayer are launch features once you clear the required story/facility unlocks. Late August content adds more multiplayer modes on top.

How many players can join Hoppin' Rope?

Up to five players in one session across Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties.

Do co-op Lives ignore my team power?

No. Your holomem stats and skills still drive your contribution. Shared scoring adds a social layer; it does not remove RPG progression.

Why don't I see multiplayer menus yet?

You likely have not cleared the chapter or Gen 3 facility gate. Check the Chapter Unlock roadmap and Dream Park ! markers.
