Third Dream Park Area
Harmony Garden and Megasphere are live. Area 3 is teased as a later spotlight zone — not confirmed for late August.
Dream Park shipped two zones on July 23, 2026: Harmony Garden, the outdoor hub with all 54 launch talents in the story cast, and Megasphere, the game-and-casino island you unlock after Harmony Garden’s main arc. COVER and QualiArts have said a third area will follow, then a fourth, on a roughly once-every-few-months cadence — not on the same calendar as the late-August multiplayer mini-game.
This page collects what is confirmed, what is only a development interview, and what players should prep during the post-Synchro gap. It is not a leak sheet. No official name, map art, or patch version exists as of August 16, 2026.
Two live areas vs. the next one
| Area | Status (Aug 16) | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Harmony Garden | Live since launch | Outdoor park, first story, Hoppin’ Rope / Match Cooking unlocks |
| Megasphere | Live after Garden story | Neon / casino loop, Mega Circuit, Pokajan!, coin sinks |
| Area 3 | Teased | Post-launch major update; ~10 talents in the spotlight |
| Area 4+ | Planned | Same spotlight model until every talent has a turn |
An IGN interview with the development team (published around August 1, 2026) is the clearest public statement: launch areas treat all 54 talents evenly; from area three onward, each new zone focuses on about ten talents so later generations and quieter members still get a dedicated park chapter. That is a design promise, not a ship date.
Game8’s maintenance tracker repeats the same split: rhythm QoL and custom-chart updates trickle in, a multiplayer mini-game arrives late August, and new areas arrive every few months. Do not collapse those three sentences into “Area 3 drops with the August mini-game.” They were listed as separate bullets.
What Area 3 is likely to ask of you
Until QualiArts posts a name, treat Area 3 like Megasphere did at launch: a story gate plus a new coin or material.
- Finish Harmony Garden’s main chapters if you still bounce off the Megasphere door. Area 3 will not be kinder to accounts stuck in the tutorial island.
- Keep a Megasphere coin buffer. Ver 1.0.100 already raised some coin rewards; the next zone will almost certainly want its own sink. Panic-spending the night before a patch is how you miss the first facility.
- Do not hoard Event Badges for Area 3. Synchro badges expire in the event shop. Park mats in that shop are the worst use of a closing counter.
- Expect a talent spotlight, not a full 54-person recast. If your oshi is not in the first ten, they still walk Harmony Garden. Area 3 is a chapter, not a deletion of the launch cast.
Mini-games already in the park — Hoppin’ Rope, Match Cooking, Mega Circuit, Pokajan! — stay. The late-August new mini-game is a separate client feature. Read that teaser for party size and coin prep; this page stays on geography.
How this fits the August 16 gap
With Synchro closed and no third rally named, park chores are the content that still compounds. Clear leftover treasure boxes, tick one facility a day, and stop treating Megasphere as “done” if Holomem quests still sit on the map. When Area 3 does land, accounts that already finished the Garden → Sphere story will walk in first.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions about hololive Dreams.
Is Dream Park Area 3 coming in late August 2026?
Not confirmed. Late August is the teaser window for a new multiplayer mini-game. New park areas were described as arriving every few months after Harmony Garden and Megasphere. Watch official news for a name and date.
How is Area 3 different from Harmony Garden?
Developers said launch areas feature all 54 talents, while area three onward spotlights about ten talents each so every member eventually gets a focused chapter. Name, theme, and unlocks are still TBA.
Should I save Event Badges for Area 3?
No. Synchro badges expire in the event shop. Spend Hololium and memories now. Prep Area 3 with park coins and finished Garden / Sphere story, not leftover event currency.
Will the late-August mini-game unlock Area 3?
Official trackers list them as separate updates. Treat the mini-game as a new activity and Area 3 as a later map until QualiArts ties them together in a patch note.
